My Sanctuary
I appreciate everything, both old and new
I'd rather wear boy shorts than skinny jeans
I don't like pink, or sitting to get a tan
I don't wear make-up, or stress on my 'doo
I like band and art
I'm stronger than most girls
Noticing things that aren't usually noticed
Loudness surrounds me
I walk the path I do everyday
Stepping up the dreaded stairs,
Into the realm of darkness and despair
I go
Straight into my sanctuary
Where I can be me
I am...
A keystone to a missing arch,
Jello Gelatin,
A wasted eraser.
I am...
A daughter that has the role of a mother,
The black sheep,
A good friend.
I am...
An icecube,
Headbanger yet a slowdancer,
An advice giver.
I am...
A deceiver,
The beginning of a rainbow in a dark sky,
A deadlocked safe.
Ringed Seal
Spends winter under landfast ice,
Breathing Holes
Checking for Polar Bears
Crustaceans
Clams
Worms
Are dinner
Colder water grow warmer
Fish and crabs moving northward
Less food
"It looks like were still in decline mode"

Twins Named Cherry
I have an identical twin, who's always attached to me.
Me, my family and friends get plucked from our home outside.
We are always being traded from hand to hand, constantly being thrown from container to truck,
many of us tossed away because we're "bruised and useless."
Finally me and my brother get to where were supposed to be,
in a big box where it's dark until the front magically opens.
A beastly claw reaches in and grabs us.
My brother falls to the ground becoming, what looks like, a bloody mess.
I soar into the air higher and higher, until I come to this dark cave
it looks like a place where dracula would dwell.
I enter the dark damp cave
Spikes from the roof and floor come and shread into pieces.
Leaving only my hard pit like core and my long stem like head.
Dreams in Action
Both of us in a dead sleep
Our heads turned to eachother, creating Eskimo kisses
So much wonderful emotion, all in a heap
After all this time God answered my wishes
Starting to wake up, I want this so much
Moving closer, our bodies enclosed
Chest to chest gently our lips touch
All these feelings ready to explode
His lips seperate mine
My eyes roll to the back of my head
This amazing tingle all down my spine
I never want to leave this warm and cumfy bed
This feeling so nice and natural
Sliding into a gentle rhythm
Suddenly I feel him begin to pull
And my heart feels like a prison
In my eyes tears begin to swell
I did it wrong, must be that
He has no expression, I can't tell
My heart stopped, line went flat
He whispers my name
And touches my neck nape
Nothing had changed, it was all the same
It was simply a little break
Relieved and ready to go again dear
We turn to eachother
Catching gazes, our eyes begin to tear
Sleepiness overwhelms one and the other
Quickly swept into sleepy land
Together we're always going to be
Holding eachother's hand
Lovers just you and me.
The Majestic Pencil
Oh, pencil, how beautifl you are,
With your pink sparkles,
That cling to me like a green snake on a branch
And how beautiful you make my handwriting.
You make my essays sound smart,
Even when I don't know what to write.
Pencil how I love you so,
I hope I never lose you
Oh, person, how I hate you so,
You steal all my make-up with your "hands"
You squeeze me until I feel sick to my stomach
You push me so hard into my close friend paper
Each time you use me I lose myself
When I'm "dull" you stick me into a dark razor tunnel
You treat me so inappropriately and evil
As if I don't have feelings
I hate you, I'm going to make sure you leave me behind today.
